DIYing is THE biggest vaping trend! There are no finished products here, we do everything ourselves! Why? Because it's fun, economical, and we’re sure of what we put in our vape! Electronic cigarette liquids can also be DIYed, with a bit of equipment, skill and patience. Only you will know what’s in them. You’ll become a bit of a chemist!

The products you need

In order to make an e-liquid for your electronic cigarette, you need :

- a neutral base liquid, comprised of PG (Propylene Glycol) and VG (Vegetable Glycerin).

- nicotine, if you want to. Choose a similar nicotine level to the one that’s in your ready-made e-liquids. This neutral base will make up 85% of your blend.

- one or several flavour concentrates, depending on your taste. There is nothing to stop you from making your own mixtures! These will make up 13% of your e-liquid.

- additives like fresheners or sweeteners, for example, which can add an extra twist to your finished product. These make up the remaining 2% of your mix. If you don't want to add them, dose the concentrates at 15%.

The DIY equipment

You’ll need the following equipment to handle and prepare your DIY blends:

- some protective gear. The products can be irritating for people with sensitive skin or allergies, and you must avoid any direct contact with the skin and eyes.

- syringes, graduated pipettes, beakers and other measuring equipment. You have to be precise when dosing your mixtures if you want the best results. Therefore, we recommend this type of equipment.

- some containers or bottles. You won’t be making a small bottle of e-liquid each time you need one, but rather a large quantity in one go, so you’ll have to store your mixture in smaller bottles.

- self-adhesive labels, which will be very useful for writing the production date on your bottle of juice, especially as some e-liquids require longer steep times than others.

The secret behind home-made electronic cigarette liquid is to taste it and refine the mix if needs be. After the recommended steep time (48 hours for fruity flavours, 1 to 2 weeks for tobacco flavours) you can adjust the dosage if your liquid is too bland, or add some neutral base if the liquid is too strong.
