How does the Centaurus N200 kit work? Our panda expert reveals everything in this explanatory video

After its Centaurus M200 kit, Lost Vape comes back with a lighter version of its electronic cigarette: the Centaurus N200.

This kit is composed of a 200W mod supplied with two 18650 batteries (not included) and a Centaurus sub-ohm clearomizer.

The manufacturer uses three different materials to make an electronic mod: zinc alloy, stainless steel, and polycarbonate (PC) giving it a weight of only 108g.

Regarding the Centaurus clearomizer, it has a bulb tank of 5ml and presents compatibility with the UB Max coils of Lost Vape for a direct inhaling vape (DL).

The materials used for its conception are what differentiates the N200 version from the Centaurus M200.

Indeed, Lost Vape chose zinc alloy, stainless steel, and polycarbonate to make the mod lighter. Once it is associated with the Centaurus clearomizer, it has a total weight of only 147g, rarely seen for a dual battery kit.

The main side of the mod presents from top to bottom:

  • 1 Fire button
  • 1 0.96" TFT screen
  • 2 setting buttons
  • 1 ON/OFF switch
  • 1 USB-C port

How does the Centaurus N200 kit work?

The Centaurus N200 mod is surrounded by two magnetic panels with one hiding the 18650 dual battery compartment.

Through the 0.96" TFT screen and setting buttons, you can choose between two functioning modes:

  • Normal mode: power setting, from 5 to 200W
  • RDA DIY mode: for use with a rebuildable atomizer

You also have access thanks to this screen with all the information necessary to your vape: power, battery capacity, and puff counter.

If you choose this Centaurus N200 kit, remember to get two 18650 batteries as they are not included.

Easily and quickly access the compartment by lifting one of the two magnetic panels of the Centaurus N200 mod. Remember to respect the direction of polarities while inserting them.

Lost Vape also put a USB-C recharging port on the mod. In case you're out of batteries, take the USB-C cable included in the box and connect it to the port, located below the ON/OFF switch of your electronic mod.

However, we recommend using as much as possible an external charger for your batteries to preserve their lifespan.

The Centaurus sub-ohm clearomizer

Clearly focused on an airy draw for direct inhaling (DTL), this Lost Vape kit features the Centaurus Sub-Ohm clearomizer. Its round tank has a capacity of 5ml and a top airflow system.

Lost Vape also includes a 3ml straight Pyrex in the kit box.

The 810 drip tip confirms its vocation as a sub-ohm device, particularly aimed at vapers looking for high vapor production.

This clearomizer is specially designed by Lost Vape to accommodate UB Max coils.

The UB Max coils

To complete this kit meant for an airy vape, Lost Vape makes the Centaurus Sub-Ohm clearomizer compatible with the UB Max coils.

You'll also find two UB Max coils included in the box of your kit:

  • 1 0.15ohm UB Max coil: to use between 80 and 120 watts
  • 2 0.2ohm UB Max coils: to use between 60 and 80 watts

To insert your coil, you only have to:

  1. Unscrew the bottom part of the clearomizer
  2. Soak a coil of some e-liquid drops
  3. Insert this coil into its compartment
  4. Screw the bottom part of the clearomizer
  5. Fill the tank with e-liquid

Wait for 5 to 10 minutes before being vaped so the new coil is correctly primed.

The top airflow of Centaurus Sub-Ohm

To limit the risk of leaks and spills, Lost Vape has equipped its clearomizer with a top airflow system.

Just below the 810 drip tip, you'll find a rotating ring allowing you to adjust the air intake flow. Turn this knob as you wish, to free up the two large orifices to a greater or lesser extent; this quick and easy operation will enable you to alternate easily between a very airy draw and a slightly more restrictive vape.

Bear in mind that the more you release the openings, the more vapor you'll produce.

How to fill your tank?

DTL vape means high e-liquid consumption. Don't worry, Lost Vape equips its clearomizer with a round tank with an e-liquid capacity of 5ml.

Once you've used the 5ml of e-liquid, you can easily fill the tank from the top, thanks to its top-fill system.

Follow the steps below to help you charge your clearomizer with e-liquid:

  1. Unscrew the top cap by a quarter-turn to remove it
  2. Insert the tip of your bottle into one of the two large filling holes
  3. Pour your e-liquid; never pour anything into the central chimney hole
  4. Screw the top cap back on

Don't forget to wait a few minutes before vaping if you're using a new coil, to let it prime properly with e-liquid.
