A new style and feel
The mouthpiece, also called drip tip, is a vital part of any electronic cigarette’s clearomiser or atomiser. It’s an aesthetic object that has to be comfortable as well, as you place your lips around it in order to inhale the vapour your ecig produces. On Arômes et Liquides you’ll find dozens of drip tips, ranging from long to short, and wide to narrow. You’re sure to find a mouthpiece that suits you, or you can discover a new vaping experience for a low cost. There’s a variety of different materials to choose from, as well. Ultem or Teflon, for example, will protect you from excessive heat, whilst a resin tip will be both light and colourful!
Choosing between a long or short drip tip
Long tips enable you to restrict your atomiser’s draw whilst cooling the vapour, which is ideal for fruity or menthol flavours. Short tips, on the other hand, will tend to make the draw more airy and let through warmer vapour, perfectly suited to tobacco-flavoured or dessert e-liquids.
What’s the difference between 510 and 810 drip tips?
A drip tip’s width also has an impact on your vaping experience. There are two standard sizes for atomiser tips. The 510 size is the smallest and the most common. It fits onto most of the market’s clearomisers and atomisers. The second size is the 810, which is wider and can be found on many atomisers and clearomisers with a more airy draw.
How do I clean my drip tip?
The mouthpiece is a part that needs to be kept clean, as it’s in your mouth when you inhale on your e-cigarette. To clean it, detach your clearomiser or atomiser from its battery and run the tip under clean water.
For a more thorough clean, you can rub it with a drop of washing-up liquid, but make sure you rinse it thoroughly afterwards. Once it’s clean, dry it with a dry cloth and your drip tip will be like new again!
